The First Ever Students Against Dhimmitude Event
On Monday, November 9 we will be bringing Joe Kaufman to speak at Washington University, in Busch 100 on the Danforth Campus (for exact location, please see our campus map) from 7 to 8:30 PM. The event, free of charge and open to all, is being co-sponsored with the Conservative Leadership Association and our longtime friends (who I have personally worked with since my freshman days at Case Western) at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
For those unfamiliar with our guest, a bit of background:
Joe Kaufman is the Chairman of Americans Against Hate, the founder of CAIR Watch, and an investigative journalist for FrontPage Magazine. In September of 2003, Joe was invited by Florida Speaker of the House Johnnie Byrd to give expert testimony in front of law enforcement and government representatives at a forum on terrorism and homeland security held in Punta Gorda, Florida. Amongst other accomplishments, in December of 2006, Joe convinced U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer to rescind an award her office had given to a leader of the Hamas-affiliated Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Joe has been featured on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC and has appeared on numerous local and national television and radio talk shows.
The focus of his talk will be on Israel and its quest for peace in the face of Islamic anti-semitism and concerted terrorist efforts backed by Iran and Syria, with special emphasis on such groups as Fatah, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Also addressed will be mistreatment of Christians in Gaza by the Islamist terrorists who are simultaneously waging a campaign of jihad against Israel and world Jewry. As an expert on Islamic terrorism and its American front operations, Joe will be able to provide a unique insight into the nature of the current problem, the American link to it, and an overview of future prospects.
I invite you all to come, and to bring your friends and family with you.
